Information collected

Ride Boundless may collect information voluntarily provided, such as name, email address, story pitch, location, links and submitted media.

Shop recommendations collect an email address and an optional phone number so a yes or a no can be confirmed. Shop claims collect a name, a work email, a role, and an optional phone number so an editor can confirm who is asking. The phone number is stored and not verified. A rider can also save a newsletter preference. Shop photos an owner uploads are stored for that listing. Story photos are sent with the Get Featured form and kept as a file reference. If a shop buys Preferred shop, Stripe processes the payment. Ride Boundless stores the plan status, not the card number. Ride Boundless does not sell email addresses or phone numbers.

How it is used

Information may be used to evaluate submissions, confirm a recommendation or a shop claim, contact contributors and shop owners, produce editorial content, operate the site and maintain records related to submissions.

Sharing

Ride Boundless does not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers needed to operate the website or produce content, and when required by law.

Your choices

Visitors may contact Ride Boundless regarding correction or deletion requests, subject to legal, editorial and recordkeeping requirements.

Story submissions are processed through Netlify Forms. The submitted answers, contact details and optional photo are available to the Ride Boundless team for review and follow-up.
